2025-2026 Winners
Many Congratulations to all the winners. We were amazed by their designs and working devices. They were truly inspirational!
Silver Award
This year the judges gave the silver award to three different projects as they were all equally impressive. Gold and bronze awards were not awarded.
Flora Tone made by Jack
A musical instrument that works also as an anxiety busting tool. The colourful flowers that are created, together with their flow to the bottom of the screen, produce a “flower garden” and create calm. Each tone has its own colour so the user can see their difference in pitch.
Birdfeeder that helps to improve biodiversity
made by Aoife, Best, Maebh and Olivia
A bird feeder with a lever mechanism which helps to keep squirrels away so that small birds can feed. The bird feeder contains both seeds and water and the lever blocks the entrance when the approaching animal is of a certain weight.
A pond rubbish collector that manipulates wind energy into a linear movement and generates waves to push rubbish into a collection net.
